Turing

The Turing Society focuses on ambitious third-year bachelor and master students with a special interest in Intellectual Property Law, IT Law, Privacy, Big Data and Technical Innovations. The dispute started as from the academic year 2017-2018 as a dispute of the Legal Student Association in Utrecht (JSVU).
The Turing Society distinguishes itself by organizing interactive activities at master level on current topics of Intellectual Property Law. These activities are strongly practice-oriented and focus on the content. This concerns both guest lectures at Utrecht University and visits on location. In this way, the advanced students can become acquainted with the legal practice of the legal profession, the business community and other institutions.
